Father Daughter Tattoo

Father Daughter Tattoo

Celtic knot is a popular Celtic symbol using a knot which has no beginning and no end. Each loop though it is individual is part of the whole and cannot be separated as the relationship between father and daughter. The Celtic symbol for father daughter tells the story of Brigid who sat close to her dying father. As she waited she weaved a knot from rushes. Her father noticed and asked her what she was doing. She explained how each loop although individual is not able to be separated from the whole just as their relationship was interwoven so too were they wrapped up with those who would follow in the life after.

You’ve probably heard that having a strong male influence is important in a young boy’s life. But it’s equally important for daughters to have one as well. A positive father-daughter relationship can have a huge impact on a young girl’s life. And even determine whether or not she develops into a strong, confident woman.

A father’s influence in his daughter’s life shapes her self-esteem, self-image, confidence and opinions of men.

A father’s tears and fears are unseen, his love is unexpressed, but his care and protection remains as a pillar of strength throughout our lives

Karma And Moksha

Karma and Moksha Tattoo

Karma and Moksha Tattoo

This belief in reincarnation leads us to our next Hindu term – karma. Lucky for us, this one is bit more familiar. In very simplified terms, karma is the Hindu belief that a person’s actions in life will determine their fate in the next life. If a person is kind and selfless in this life, they’ll be rewarded in the next. Unfortunately, the opposite is also true. If a person is a scoundrel today, let’s just say they’ll be paying for it in their next tomorrow! Although our culture doesn’t always use the word karma, vestiges of it are apparent in phrases like, ‘What goes around comes around,’ or ‘He sure got what was coming to ’em!’

To understand moksha, which means ‘liberation,’

one must first understand several other important ideas in Hinduism – particularly, samsara. Samsara is a Sanskrit word that refers to the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. The passing of the soul from one life to another. As the soul transitions between these lives, the next incarnation is informed by the deeds of the previous life. This is the Hindu belief of the concept of karma. You may have heard people talk about karma. The idea that people’s choices will come back to affect them one way or another in the future. The Hindu concept of karma is similar to the popular use, but a person’s responsibility for her/his actions, good or bad, is dealt with in the next life, not the current one.

Maa Paa Tattoo

maa paa tattoo

Everyone has their own personal meanings attached to their tattoos and this one is customised and free hand tattoo which was personal yet close  for my client

Someone has said that the love of a family is life’s greatest blessing. Well, nothing could be nearer to the truth than this statement. The worth of a family is too great to be put into words but tattoos are a good way of expressing love and gratitude. People wear their love and pride for their family on their bodies.

This is one of the sweetest and most meaningful tattoos out there. I mean how can you not love this? A daughter honoring love for her parents by declaring a permanent piece of art. You can’t go wrong with that. Only a person with a hardened heart wouldn’t appreciate this. This tattoo is not just endearing, it is also symbolic and in a way very reassuring that love can and should be flaunted.

Maa Paa Tattoo

Someone rightly said once that God could not be anywhere and that is why he created mothers. Mothers are truly special and one can never do enough to show them just how much they are loved and appreciated. But there are some ways through which one can tell their mom just much she is loved. Nothing speaks better than a permanent tattoo. Tattoos are like preserving and expressing love for as long as you are alive. Mothers and special and so they deserve a special place in your life and what better way than to keep her with you forever on a part of you. It is nothing but a sign of truly unbreakable bond.

The message of this piece alone is worth the pain, time and yeah money to have this done. What I’m trying to get at is that at its very core. This piece of art is done to express love

Tiger Eye Tattoo

Coverup Tattoo

The tiger’s eye is more than gemstone; it is a symbol of Focus, Patience, and Determination. A Tiger Eye Tattoo symbolizes your most primitive desires; you are moving and thinking simply on instinct and drive. The eye of the tiger represents the animal in its purest state; it is stalking, hungry, focused, and, most importantly, lethal.

When it comes to animal tattoos, the tiger ranks up there with the best of them. Tigers have been a part of fashion, magic acts, and carnivals for years. Their beautiful stripes make them very attractive in fashion, art, and tattoos. Although the lion is considered to be the king of the jungle, it is actually the tiger. The largest percentage of tigers live in the dense jungles of Asia. Due to the popularity of their fur coats, they’re on the endangered species list. The beauty and symbolism of the tiger has made it a highly sought-after tattoo.

  • The Bengal and Siberian tigers are absolutely beautiful animals. The Bengal is orange with black stripes, while the Siberian is white with black stripes.
  • They are deadly jungle predators. The humans who still live in the jungles where these tigers roam have to be on constant alert for them. One of the tiger’s strengths is his ability to hunt and ambush his prey without detection.
  • The tiger has played a very important role in Asian cultures, such as China and Japan. In these cultures, the tiger ranks right up there with the dragon. You may also see tiger tattoos that actually have a dragon.
  • Japanese Samurai had tigers on their crests.
  • As you have already read, the tiger is an endangered animal. Due to this fact, the tiger tattoo has become very important for those who care about the tiger species and conservation. These people wear the tiger tattoo with pride as a reminder of their work.
  • As of today, there are only a few thousand left in the entire world. The species became endangered after people had been hunting them for their fur.

Roaring Lion Tattoo

It’s no wonder why humans fear and revere the image and reputation of the Lion. Even though it is a largely nocturnal animal, the Lion is seen as a symbol of the Sun and an embodiment of Passion. On the other hand, the Lioness is a representative of the Moon and is a symbol of Rationality, Motherhood, and Family in many cultures. These fearless felines embody several traits, including:

  • Authority and Leadership
  • Power
  • Brute Strength
  • Victory
  • Attentiveness and Alertness
  • Wisdom and Intellect
  • Justice
  • Honor
  • Courage and Bravery
  • The Divine and Spirituality
  • Royalty and Nobility
  • Motherhood (Lioness)
  • Zodiac sign for Leo
  • Family

The Meanings of Lion Tattoo

The lion is one of the most popular animals for people to get tattooed on their bodies, and they have been for centuries. The ordinary symbolism and meaning of the lion is royalty and self-confidence. It once was, and still is in some cultures, viewed as a creature of aristocracy and law. Today, lion tattoos signify the same things, plus courage, savage protectiveness, glory, victory, strength, vitality, spirit, and overall masculinity. Although there are some women who choose this tattoo design, the lion is predominantly a male figure. However, some women do like getting tattoos of lion cartoon characters.
